Fun with enemy aircraft

OK, I admit for most of U411's patrols, 27 so far, whenever enemy patrol A/c were detected, or showed up out of the clear blue sky, U-411 would dive, make a 90° turn and evade the enemy. All was good, but I thought something was missing.

Lately I've been staying on the surface and dooking it out with the B-24s and PBYs ( I've yet to encounter a P-39 or Hurricane since starting to fight back). Such exileration!! Attacks on convoys are well planned and deliberate. Enemy aircraft are just plain fun to shoot and kill.

I was curious if anyone else is in the same position and finding it great fun?

Count yourself lucky, Am in Feb 45 air raids in harbour are a normal occurance,I don't have stock planes installed, so the idea of shootin down anything that comes my way is not an option.
I just got wooped big style by the RAF & USAAF because someone in f*ck up in BDU.

I enjoyed it in the stock game. Having your AA guns blasting away, planes swooping in and bombs falling left and right. It was certainly exciting. Now I use the Airpower mod and I avoid them like the plague!

I'm actually so scared of aircraft these days I tow that massive sub bunker from St. Naz behind me and hide in it when my watch officer yells, 'PLANE`.

I sometimes get sick of that Crash dive when an bloody plane is nearby....so after 5 times a day that very same plane kept iritating me with coming towards me I stood my foot hard on the ground and Manned my AA....My crew shot it down after ordered an Fire at Will and the planes started to burn coming down and Missed my Subs ass by an 5 meter... :up: and I took over the AA gun and shot in the water just to realese my anger with screaming ''DIE MOTHERF.......DIE!!! DIE AAAAAAAARRR DIE DIE DIE!!!'' after that I continue the patrol and started to read a Book about WW2 planes....:|\\

i would engage them if i could shoot worth a damn in this game. but it seems i'm only good shooting ground to ground or air to gorund, and not ground to air... i was born a flight simmer :rock:
