View Full Version : Missing textures in the radio room?

Evening, all.

So I reinstalled SH3. Patched to 1.4b. Mods are:
Harbor Traffic 1.47
Bordeinstrumente 1.0
SH3 commander.

I set out on a patrol, and I was barely out of the harbour when I noticed that the control room was missing a few textures here and there. I went for'ards into the radio room, and it was a giant black and red cavern! Almost all the textures were gone, as were the models of the rooms and the crew. What's wrong here?

I had this happen to me once before and I fixed it, but it was months ago and I have NO IDEA what I did. Can anyone help me with this?

I know this is an old post but I just got the same problem. The one thing you and I have in common I think is the SH3 Commander. That's the only mod I have installed. Only other change that might have screwed things up is I got a new conning tower for my type IX and installed radar and that decoy thing. Anyone have any ideas? I liked hanging out in the radio room and listening to music. :cry:

Missing textures in the radio room is an old stock bug, can happen after installing radar. Normally a reload of the game fixes it. Has nothing to do with the Sh3Cmdr.

It happens only if radar is installed, and only when you enable and increase software antialiasing/glare using 'shift+PageUp/PageDown'. At least it happens to me on nvidia card - just enable antialiasing in nvidia control panel and don't use shift+pageup/down keys.
But it only affects radio room...

Yup, Falke's right. It's the 'Shift + PgUp' antialiasing that does it.
