Some things you learn while living in Texas:

1. Mesquite trees are practically invulnerable.

2. Houston will never cease in it's effort to consume nearby counties.

3. The Woodlands riverwalk project will become the largest mesquito breeding ground in the state.

4. The speed limit is not 55. Try 75.

5. The Houston light rail has a vendetta aginst cars. (102+ cars / 2 fatalties)

6. The Houston city council is manned by a bunch of idiots. (hence the light rail)

7. The Texas legislature will never have enough money.

8. There are buildings in Dallas with Fort Worth zipcodes.

9. Austin is the capital?
