I know about B-17 by Micropose and I have one but I can't fly it without any manual and due to some unknown reasons. (Let me know if you want it and I will give you the address of an online store)

However, I am interested to know if there is any other WWII bomber game except B-17

Microsofts Combat Flight simulator 3, has bombers though not the B17, if i can remeber right they were the American B-25 Mitchells and German Heinkel 111. Also has alot of fighter aircraft.

The Il-2 series also has a slew of medium and light bombers (and one 4 engine dinosaur from the 30s the TB-3), the He-111, Ju-88 (can dive or level bomb), Betty G4M (IJN), B-25, A-20, Mosquito (only the FB version flyable) and the Pehska Pe-2. They come with bombsights as well, quite fun and a change from shooting stuff down. Sadly, no real heavy bomber game around since B-17, someone was developing a sim centred around the RAF night Bomber Command ops but that became vapourware sadly. :nope:

I also remeber with the B-17 game are you meaning the one that came out about 4yrs ago or the first one that came out round 1997? The newer version, did have a PDF manual on the cd and i remember i had to DL a gamepatch that also fixed my joystick (at the time an old sidewinder) as without the patch i couldn't get of the ground! Had to revert to using keys :damn:

Great game btw, i might dust it off and give it another blast! :D

I am not sure if there were many games with title B-17 from different publishers. I have B17 The Mighty Eighth from Micropose.

I am unable to find the manual on the CD. May I have it from you if you have the same game as I have :)

It would have been great if there were WWII bombers (I am talking about heavy bombers) in IL2 series..
