Well....I havent had it installed all that long...but I am experiencing some problems....I am having recurring problems with the lagging mouse....it seems to lag real bad at times....even getting stuck in one place.......and then most recently I was in mission and came across a nice juicy task force....I had just launched three torps at a King George.....and the next thing I know I am looking at the desk top.....what the heck????? Anyone else having similar experiences with it??

....Well....any ideas would be appreciated...I am having a hard time believing that my computer isnt up to the task of running this mod....I have 2 gigs of Ram....a brand new VisionTek Radeon X1300 video card....a Pentium 4 processor at 2ghz......Is there something I am missing.....or do you think the mod has inherent instability...?

My experience with CTD's are that, aside from the crew management icon bug, they always occur when attacking a particular convoy. This also is tied to inexplicable slowdowns as well. I have reloaded and gone after the same convoy multiple times, and eventually suffered a CTD. However, if I ignore that convoy and find another to torment, there's no problem. My initial hunch is that is either a texture or engine sound for a perticular ship in the convoy that's the culprit, and that this ship/texture is in the convoys that are causing me fits. The large tanker is my suspect for now, as whenever I used the external cam to cycle through ships, the large tanker (T3, is it?) is very choppy. Star shells and the sun glare sometimes cause extreme choppiness as well. I'm running GW 1.1 (have only ever played the game with this mod) and I'm running an Ahlon XP 3000+, ATI 9800 Pro with Cat 5.6, DirectX 9.0c. The game is jacked to 1280x1024 with 4x AA and in normal circumstances, FPs is in the 50s-60s.

Slick Rick, what kind of sound card do you have. I suffer from crashes sometimes just before or just after I sink a ship, and I'm sure it's related to the fact that I only have the onboard sound. Being poor, my only solution is to save every chance I get, so I can rejoin the action right where I left off.

Hey Steve......its a SB Live! 1024 Digital Sound Card....interesting thought Galanti...there were quite a few star shells going off when I crashed....I wonder if there is something to that.....Is there any fix for the lagging mouse???

I have no clue. I've never had that problem. Well, except when it first loads, but then everything lags. And jerks. And jumps.
