Ahoy! New topic for this match on June 17th. Post your bet, opinion...
There are many rumours about Ronaldo's physical conditions to this match, I say; Let's wait and see.

I wish Australia would win, but even if that's not gonna happen, I hope Ronaldo plays better than before because of what he said to the President.

It's interesting, Ronaldo gave Brazil the last World Cup, he was worshipped as a hero back in 2002, and now he's treated like dead meat because he's not being super-man. Well, if he wasn't talented nobody would miss him when he's benched. :88)

I agreed with you about Ronaldo. Anyway, the Brazilian team is now well prepared, and will probably win without many problems if everything goes as planned.

There's no option for a draw:huh: , which is what I'm hopping for (I don't really think australia will win).
Cause for Australia a draw is good enough to get us to the next round, and I'd prefer it now that at the last minute against Croatia. (As long as we don't play for a draw, we should be fine)

Go Socceroos

one thing is for sure the Aussies won't be able to physically dominate the brazil team in the same way as they did against Japan--the aussies are a pretty agressive team---and fair or un fair for some reason refs have a soft spot for the brazil team when it comes to heavy tackling -seen it time and time again---Australia are going to have to be carefull--there's big money on that field--the "powers that be" don't want to see ten million pound strikers getting injured--too much money invested---the refs tend to play along with this regardless of the slight incongruity of it---

my money is on the Aussies not realising this--coming on and taking ten minutes or more to adjust in which time the Brazillians might get ahead--
leaving the Aussies struggling to come from behind--

2:1 to Brazil..?
:hmm:

if the Aussies play well it will be an amazing watch tho--

What the australians lack in tactics they have in pure physical force and for a team like Brazil that plays very slow that will be a problem.
In the end i still favor a victory of Brazil but they will find 90 minutes of hell on earth.

As much as I'd like to vote for Australia, it would just be wishful thinking. That's not to say it's impossible, especially since it's not in our nature to play for a draw.
