Am I missing something ? Each row of ships seems to have the same configurations and ship seem to sail in the same position :o

Or maybe I am just confused because I never play with the gods-eye map switched on.

Lol. That's just indication lines showing the direction of contact with the ships. Not to be read as if there's several rows or anything. Each so called "row" indicates the same ships. You should read them from your boat and out. Not any other way.
If you count the ships in one "row" you have the number of ships you've detected in the convoy.

For example, his SO has identified 15 merchants and 3 warships.

But why are they displayed 4 times on the screen ????

In the stock game, the sonar lines are solid lines leading to the exact position of the ship. In NYGM, the principle is the same except for the fact that the lines are broken up to allow for miscalculations. Its just for added realism -- its harder to see EXACTLY where the ship is with dashed lines.

Ah, I see. But I will not see this when using NYGM at max realism will I ?

The dashed indications,make it easer to see visual contacts in hydrophone spread pattern.It can be changed back to stock.:up:

If you make your picture story,into a slide show, and do a batch conversion to a smaller image,so many pictures would not take so much forum resources to download.Just a suggestion for consideration. Surely the Black Swan,was not your only kill? :nope:

The images are not stored in the forum or the subsim server. they are located at imageshack, therefore they do not take "any" forum resources. But the huge files do make the thread load slow.

Also the fact that there are so many images in each single post makes that this thread has only 1 page that holds all images, another reason why this thread loads so slow. It would be better to spread them out over more pages so the thread will consist of multiple pages.

But the images are great to view ! Thats a fact !

So far the black swan is my only kill but i will be going to periscope depth for another go , then i will submit more photos .

I have 100% realism with NYGM but Gods Eye View turned on, so I'm not sure.

Appart from my own tweaks, my SH3 install is still pretty sparse when it comes to MODS :roll: Which one does the Dropdown Chronometer come with and where can I get it?
