Hallo my friends.
Many of you will know me here by my Marlena Hessler story.
Most of my involvement with SH3 is through Wolves at War
(http://wolvesatwar.org/) and if you want a whole new level of immersion, I highly suggest your giving us a try. Had it not been for WaW, my copy of SH3 would have been collecting dust long before now.
But that is not why I am writing. For some time, WaW has had one thread for each Flotilla with the name of a Bar, or tavern if you will. This is a thread where the officers may come and enter what they will in role-playing their personas.
WaW is starting all over again with WaW2. The bars are open and the fracas is off to a royal start in some of them.
Previously, my experiences running a boat via WaW and the antics at the Drakkar, led to the Marlena hessler story.
Now, in the 2nd Flotille, I have stepped things up a notch by introducing a non-combatant persona by name of Ilse Schenker, a german barmaid. My initial intent was for something to do in between patrols. Whew! Has it taken off!
Other player/writers have included their contributions and believe me when I say that many of them are truly talented. You really should come visit and check out the hilarious antics of Herr Steiger and Ilse, to mention only a few.
