Hi Everyone,
I just checked my log after my first patrol, in which I sank 3 merchants but the log says zero. What do I do to get credit and presumably renown?
I believe it is OK to return from patrol within 30 km of base.
I'm running Grey Wolf with the latest update and using Commander.

just a wild shot but did you save your game before the ship had actually sunk

I did not save before targets sank. Just noticed I don't have credit for any career sinkings.

This problem came up in the past with several other people. Wasn't it a problem in connection with GW & SHCdr or something ?
Since i assume the topics regarding it can no longer be found after the forum upgrade perhaps someone who has a clear memory on this problem can answer this one ?

NO....
It is a stock game issue, something that I have never seen.

A title search on "tonnage" will find many posts on this topic (ignore the NYGM ones!). Usual reasons for this stock SH3 problem are outlined in http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=93381
Strangely, I have tried to replicate this problem myself (running stock SH3 and/or SH3Cmdr and/or GW and/or RUb) and have never been able to. :hmm:
I do know that the problem has existed since day 1 (the first post I found was dated back in April last year) and I have seen many early careers with the other telltale effect of this problem - missing career and flotilla *start* dates.
If it's possible, the only sure way to avoid this problem is to not save mid-patrol. Prolly not feasible for some though...
