Don't you just hate these competitions that are open to school kids or uni students?

This is the kind of stuff I missed out on as a kid as THEY DIDN'T do the competitions or my school was too duff to get the info or inform us.

So I was thinking. How about we have our own design competition on subsim.com

I know we can't enter the official competition but we could send something anyway. It would also be fun. Neal do you think it would be a good idea to have a subsim competition and whoever wins, we be cheeky and send the RN our design?

I'm always reminded of those overblown starships designed by Star Trek fanboys (20 miles long! 500 quantum torpedo launchers!) so I figured I'd throw my two cents in.
