View Full Version : Save Game????
For some reason, while playing in career mode when I go to save game, it asks me to type in a name for the save game and when I go to load it isn't there.... not only that but my last mission I got back to base and ended patrol and it suddenly said I was dead in my save game list. career gone. WTF is going on??? Anyone know of this or experience it?? Any help would be appreciated, starting career for third time now :(

Do you make a backup copy of your career that is under SH3 in "My Documents" if you did then you can simply copy it back the SH3.
No, but even so , when I hit save, if I go to the load game menu it shows 3 saved games, one where I am in base on start date, another one where I am in base on the start date again, and one where I am dead. It doesn't save the game properly, it always makes me dead... I did a test and drove out of the harbour, went all stop and saved , when I went to load I was dead again. I don't know what is going on :( can't play 4 years of war without saving lol

Sounds like you are having problems with the game itself. If it continues, If I were you, I'd make a CLEAN sinstall. In otherwords, uninstall it, remove all references in the SH3 directory in Ubisoft/SH3 Make sure you back up your career before you uninstall. I had that happen to me once and I had to do a clean install and it has not occurred anymore.
Yeah, I figured it might take that, but I was hoping someone else might have found a trick to get it to work. I'll keep my eyes on it and if it does it again I guess I'll clean her up. Thanks
