The name Rosenbaum seems to be pretty Jewish to me... I have also run accross the name Zimmermann as a U-Boat commander. This sounds preposterous considereing Nazi Germany, but were Jews really allowed in the Kriegsmarine?

Are you kidding? Rosenbaum and Zimmermann were checked for hundred times before they could join the "aryan" Kriegsmarine.

I've used Ewald Hugo Helmut Rosenbaum as one of my personae in WaW. Actually, he was a pretty decent commander. Sunk a carrier. Had an untimely death when the transport he was flying in was shot down, however.
