Silent Steel 2 Anyone?

I dont know about the rest of you folks, but I would really like to see a Silent Steel 2 sometime in the future. Think, with DVD capabilities, the plotlines could be more and more diverse, and new graphic systems allow for a more immersive environment.

I loved Silent Steel. Anyone else agree that *someone* should take up the reigns and raise USS Idaho from the bottom of the bargain bin?

Yeah, there was some talk abot a sequel, but it fell through. SS came on my IBM, that was a cool game.

I hate it when game companies, they get your hopes up then poke you in the eye. I do remember reading something about a Silent Steel 2, but that was due for release about..12 years ago? Bit overdue, dont you think? ;)
