Hi. Got SH3 a week ago, am loving it to pieces. First post here, so please be patient with me...

A quick question:

The first few times I spotted airplanes or a warship, I got a dialog box giving me three choices: periscope depth, surface attack (?) or continue plotted course. There was also a box to select the choice as the 'default option' for all such future engagements.

Being the noob I am, playing at a whopping 29% realism, I opted for periscope depth as the default option. However, having since discovered the joys of flak and deck guns, I wish to reverse this decision. So: where can I change this option?

Thanks in advance.

Hit the 'Escape' button. Above the 'Save Game' choices you'll see 'Options'. In there you'll find 'Reset Default Options', or something like it. It let's you start over.

Oh the joy of shooting all them planes down,I forgot what it feals like.but truefully stock planes are a joke you can blast them out of the sky for fun.
At one point many moons ago I edited my .cfg file so my flak guns had around 5000 round each but sooner or later in the later war years you will run out of ammo when 12+ sunderlands decide to jump you and then when you take them out anouther 12 and then anouther just not realistic.
