Subwolves is, from what I understand, a stand-alone strategic submarine game where you get to play BdU and choose how best to deploy the fleet of u-boats. Then, as the strategic game progresses and an actual battle will ensue, the game Subwolves will create a .msi file that you can then CHOOSE to play in SHIII as an individual mission.

Apparently, you don't *have* to use SHIII. It will be possible to play Subwolves all by itself without even owning SHIII. But, if you want to play the battles in 3-D, you can use SHIII to do so.

I think it sounds fantastic. And I definitely would/will pay for it.

This is a must buy. I hope the developers will work with the UBI dev team for SHIV and create a similiar program for COMPAC.

It looks cool, and I am a realism buff, but unfortunately I'm not too interested in strategic games, or in playing the overall commander.

Looks nice, though.
