For ruthless behavior with respect to the national soccer teams of other nations, irresponsible claims concerningthe championship results, lacking respect for the hosting nation and unfair anti-sports-propaganda, I hereby demand that Drebbel is made subject to another subsim-forum court trial. I also want him to clean my kitchen each evening for as long as he has not learned some minimum competence in judging the real chances of any Dutch soccer team in any kind of championship imaginable with some more humble realism.

Were you referring to this posting:
Netherlands will win anyway.
No need to argue about that

Thread Closed and Unstickied !

Spare me the details :hulk: we are already fed up with Ahmadinejadh's threat to visit Germany during the tournament - of course only to see his team playing. How could we unthankfully assume he just wants to provocate... To think that German taxes will be used to set up the security cordon for him makes me sick. And that he may choose to come, although both the politics and the wide German public have let him known all clearly that he is not a bit welcomed here makes me sick even more. Hope they plaster his way with Christian bibles whereever he walks in Germany, and maybe hang up some garlic and crucifixes in his hotel suite.
Did I say "suite"...? :-?
I believe it's time for a new court marshal... We need to send out a messange to all sweetwater pirates out there! :arrgh!:

Oberon just set a new subsim.com record changing a sport thread into a political thread (with Skybird in the supporting role).
Well the late Dutch (WC '74) coach Rinus Michels used to say: "Football is War."

Drebbel may or may not be guilty as sin, but that has absolutely nothing to do with the charges at hand. Why, I've never read anything more rediculous in my life. Drebbel ought to sue you for defamation of character. I'd do it myself, but I have no character.
Just getting in practice. I've still got it!

Aussie Rules is what I commonly call 'Aerial Pingpong' and is played by metrosexual girly men who wear tight pants.
Rugby on the otherhand is a great sport.
I will stay on the safe side and not comment on Soccer or Ameriacn football. :yep:

Football (soccer) and American Football I have no intrest in. AFL, Rugby Leuge and Rugby Union minimal to some intrest, but a good book (or Das Boot on DVD) will taken my intrest over them,
