Cricket? I've watched it on occasion when I've cruised the Caribbean left for the states and come back again after 6 months and the same game is still going BORING. Thats one game I don't understand.

Yes, people usually like watching a Once every Twenty years event.

I know you English are not used to winning, especially against Australia and especially in cricket, but you must do it with SOME grace.

I like almost all sports when they are played with passion and drama at the highest level. There are few Olympic matches that I would not like to watch. Same goes for big tournaments like Wimbledon (which I once visited), the Tour de France, FIFA World Cup. I get even more interested when Dutchmen play a substantial role...

Sports I personally participate or participated in:
Chess (too long ago); cross country skiing; judo & karate (both quite a while ago); pistol shooting; running (a few times a week 5 to 10 km); sailing; scuba diving (Master Diver); tennis (in the grey past).
I do some fitness and streching exercises a few times a week to prevent me from becoming senile & fat.

Suprised no one's said it yet, considering the naval bias to these boards...

Martial arts, boxing included, as the few once practiced on a regular basis; kayak, bow & bycicle are my second choice, as something to make by time.

No feeling at all for soccer and basket.
