Well, you see Sir, it was really foggy and I had this juicy C3 lined up, and well since I'd identified most of the tankers as American ships I thought for sure this one was British...and I only had a second to get in a good shot...i saw red on the flag and.. well ..Loss! I fired away. Then i pulled out my binoculars to take a look and that's when i saw that dang American flag. i turned the boat away and headed of into the fog. Unfortuanately my torpedoe was well aimed and hit the C3 :oops: But on the bright side it was only one and she didn't go under.

i mean it only seems fair to gently damage the Ami's after all the trouble they;re causing. I mean, Jeez, mixing their ships in with the Tommy's is more effective than providing escorts! And sending juicy T3s full of oil and gas right through my patrol zone!? it's just not right Sir! Not right at all.

So do i loose renown for only just barely, kinda, damaging a nuetral C3 but not sinking it?

Hmmm. Maybe report it as british, or not at all. Was it a T2? Or, in the fog, they may not have seen the steam trail and thought it was a mine? I dunno. What year is it? I'm guessing the yanks haven't started to pull any weight yet?

It's happened to me before, but BdU didn't seem to mind. I was responding to their ealier message "Be more Aggressive". After my mistake, they radioed back "Keep up the good work".

If it was in a convoy and under escort I consider it fair game irespective of nationality ,I consider if it's neutral why have a british warship escorting it unless it was there for a sinister reason
