Sailing to the Indian Ocean?

Maybe a dumb question, but I assume for GW 11 that I can head to the Indian Ocean eventhough it does not have the grid reference? Just want to make sure before I fire up my Type IXD-2

You most definatly can go to the indian ocean. The intresting part about it is that all of your position reporting is done in lat/long/degrees, and not the grid chart. I'd recommend hunting near the entrace of the suez canal, along the east coast of africa, or south west area of australia. That said, shipping can be light, and contact reports in those remote waters are nearly non existant.
