I too am dying to read that book. I got plenty of book's about U-boats and Battle of the Atlantic, but I can't get my hands on this one because they don't sell it in Finland (I have checked everywhere) at all and I don't have a credit card and neither do my friends or family. ( In Finland it is extremly hard to get credit card)

Thanks... but schiet it's expensive, and not even original fo that price!
Why is the english one so much cheaper?
Ok, after some googling of the U-Bootkommandanten Handbuch, I was able to find out that the first 100 or so pages have been transcribed on to the 9th flottilla website (a german SH3 flottilla).
http://www.9teuflottille.de
The handbook has been transcribed into the section accessed by the "Wissen" tab at the top of the index page.
For non german speakers, you could try using a web-based translator on it, though it will probably turn out a bit dodgy as always.
Some cool links there guys.
