I recently downloaded Jungman's SensorPak as I understand it fixes the snorkel issue (you know, where the snorkel is as big as a house on radar?) I'm not super proficient with mods so I use the Generic Mod enabler for the one's I have. Well, here's my issue:

There are 3 files in the .zip (not including the text files); AI_sensor.dat, DepthCharges.zon and Sensors.dat. There's also another zipped file called SonarDC_Snorkel_fix.zip inside the original zip that contains another copy of AI_sensor.dat along with DepthCharges.sim and DepthCharges.zon. So I guess my question is how do I set these files up so I can use the Generic Mod Enabler with them & do I need both AI_sensor.dat files? Won't one overwrite the other?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

Yes, I remember that this was quite confusing. IIRC it is the zip within the zip.

To be honest this is one of the best non candy mods out there.

I think it also improves the "Radar Detection" which now means you have a chance to dive before the enemy are on top of you.

With regards to the Snokel - excellent you can steam along nicely and watch the planes go crazy looking for you. However they can still detect you at closer ranges but then it makes the game more exiting as you never really know whether your crash dive is going to get you away this time.

Go for it.

It does sound like a good mod, but I still don't know how to apply it properly.

Do I just install the original zip? Do I just install the zip inside the zip? Does one cancel out the other? (they do have the same file name inside "AI_sensor.dat ")

Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't sound too accurate to me, as planes could easily see a submarine at periscope or snorkel depths, and sometimes as deep as 50 meters.

Still, it sounds like it's better than the stock version.
