On previous games (before installing the 'Sh3 commander + Rub 1.45' plus few other MODS, when I've retuned to base, Exit -> Dock; the game saved me 'in port before mission' row and all was fine.

Since then, I've installed the above MODS and had to start patrolling from scrach. I've just finished my 1st patrol (with the new MODS installed)

When Exit –> Dock at the base, the game declares me as DEAD!
I can't continue to the next patrol.

I managed to start a new patrol right away (without going threw the 'in port' saved part, and managed to sale to sea for the 2nd patrol but then I can not see my new saved games.
Any save I make doesn’t show after the line says: "DEAD".
.
..

Since I've wrote all the above – I run SH3 Commander and saw that my carrier status is "lost at sea during patrol 1…"
That's odd considering the fact that as a dead captain, I managed to sink some nice enemy ships and made it back to base..

That may explain the fact being altogether dead.. :)

Well, what can I do now?
Is there a resurrection for dead u-boats (and their captains)? :hmm:

TIA

Yes. Load without SH3Cdr, end your mission, exit. Then re-load SH3Cdr, and everything is fine

Happened to me also while trying to mess with the scripted campaign and loading in the middle of a mission :88)

Instant death :dead:

Hmm. Neither RUb or SH3 Commander (if used correctly) can kill your commander on entering the base. I fear you must have either installed a mod that conflicts with RUb (potentially any mod other than SH3 Commander), or you've made some sort of mistake in the installation process, or in using SH3 Commander. Did you read through the SH3 Commander and RUb readme files? The following paragraph in the RUb readme is most important:

"This mod is to be used with Silent Hunter III version 1.4b. It may not work properly if you don't have the correct game version installed. It is also compatible with the "SH3 Commander" mod version 1.4 or above. RUb has not been tested with any other mod other than SH3 Commander, and use of any other mod with RUb may cause bugs, lockups or crashes."

Also, in the SH3 Commander help file, in the 'Notes' section:

"Limit the changes you make in SH3 Commander to when you are in base between patrols. Crewman or other changes will not be reflected in SH3 Commander when you are mid-patrol. Hence making changes mid-patrol is not recommended and may cause game instability."
