Update Patch 1.4b ?????

I got the patch from the UbiSoft site for the U.S. DVD version.

It is labeled 1.4b clearly. (silent_hunter_3_dvd_1.4b_us)

Yet all during the update process the patch utility says several times that the game is being updated to from version 1.0 to 1.3....plus at the end it confirms that the game has been updated to version 1.3


Whats up with that? Is UbiSoft just trying to confuse or am I missing something?

It means all vwesions from 1.0 thru 1.3 have been updated to 1.4b. Not exactly clear is it . :88)

Especiaaly when at the end it tells you that you have updated to 1.3 and not 1.4b :nope:

The Devs forgot to update the text. It is 1.4b.
