Why is it interesting in your view Vinay? Can you please expand or share your thoughts? :)

P.S. Are you a cricket fan? If so you must have been happy with the one day performance of India v England. India are building a very talented, young and exciting team. Do you watch the program Cricket Controversies on NDTV with Navjot Singh Sidhu?

This news is interesting because we are seeing a change in the stance of Imam's in India. Till now they were with the Congress party and is seen as secular. I.E the Congress party being a secular party supported such religious fundamentalist. Now we are seeing the agressive behaviour of the Imam's. Earlier everything used to be just comments or threats but now it has reached a stage where they are physically challenging people. (or Hindus according to them)

Journalists waiting outside the prime minister's residence on Race Course road were attacked by the supporters of Shahi Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari of Jama Masjid, when they tried to stop him for answering some their questions.

See this the Imam's followers are taking into violence for simple questions asked by journalists.

Bukhari accused the media of being agents of the Rashtriya Swayamevak Sangh

He is trying to put the blame on someone and trying to make it a religious issue.

The Imam did little to stop journalists, including women scribes, from being attacked by his supporters,

On a complaint filed by Yusuf Ansari of Zee News and one Vijay Trivedi

If going by the Imam's observation we will find Muslim Hindu agents .

Talking to reporters after the meeting with Dr Singh, the Imam hinted at launching a political front if the demands of the community were not met. "There is growing disenchantment within the community, which has led to the formation of the United Democratic Front in Assam," he said.

They are planning to create a religious party and has already conducting experiment in the state of Assam. The next step is an Islamic political party which will try to bring in Sharia law in India.

"We do not want to chart a different path but would be forced to do so if our demands are not met," Syed Bukhari said without elaborating.

A challenge.

Yes, I am a cricket fan. But not a hardcore one. Earlier I used to be one. After the betting scandal my interest is just limited to asking scores and watching a small part of the match.

Yes, I am happy with the performance of the Indian cricket team. But today it is a different game. The Indian team got out for 197 runs against Pakistan in Abudhabi.

Let's hope that India will strike back and win the match.

I do watch a program of Navjot Sidhu called The great Indian Laughter challenge on Star TV and not the cricket contoversies.
