They're ruining every thread they walk into.

It's only a matter of time untill every thread gets locked.

So, why don't we change the name of the Tanksim forum to the Armageddon and deport them there? Tank battles can be chaotic, Skybird won't even notice.

That, or we could ask the 13thhour to hack their accounts and make them unable to see each other's posts.

ROTFLMAO HAHAHAHAHAAA

Gooood One :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

yes... she is close to making me loose my objectivity...
and worse, my sense of humor...

the mods will (should) indeed intervene and lock the threads...

or i will simply leave her to babble to herself in due time...

my apologies to all here... the forum in general is better than this...

my only defense is that i have so lil tolerance for fanatical religious or racial intolerance, and the hate and propaganda spewed out by these sorts... no matter which side of the fence it comes from...

let these people go to another forum to spread their vile...

opinions are one thing... what she is doing is something completely different... there are many members here who she has offended and intimidated, with the direction of her threads... i've received many pms and email to this affect... these people are too decent to wage a public war against this...

our community has no place for this sorta stuff...

i am more than happy to counter her vile and intolerant ravings with factual reference whenever i have the time to do so...

again, i apologize... and if it really bothers you that much, then might i suggest that you simply choose not to read it.

Hehehe, little do you know!

Anyhow, I vote for letting them have a duel. Shall they battle it out on the board of honour - shall they play chess!

Gotta admit I was a little surprised when an AL-Mike artillery duel broke out on on the Happy Easter thread. Fireworks on Easter. Wow.

Maybe Neal can rig it so you can't see each others posts. :hmm:

Huh? Who's posting? Who said that? All I see is grey.

Yes, it was odd: I was discussing religious representation and objectivity in the American media when all broke loose. It is kind of like walking down the street when the tavern brawl suddenly bursts out the door, and everyone is suddenly throwing punches.

I'm all for the containment of this action, envisioning some type of steel cage with metal pipes and monkey wrenches available for mayhem-making.

Neal has worked long and hard at making this a place for everyone who shares a common interest can come and dock their subs and ships and planes... and enjoy themselves...

it is regrettable not only that something like this has arisen... but that i find myself involved in it...

as for seeing each others posts... all one would have to do would be to log on as a guest in order to view anything they wished... so that solution wouldn't really solve anything... might i suggest that a lil less hate mongering and a lil more self control might be the better solution...

like i said above... an opinion is one thing... spreading hate is something else completely... and it really has no place here...

I think Mike has brought a well needed balance to this forum which in my view has been lacking over the last 6-12 months. So it's a big  from me.

I do. They think they're so tough. They're all, 'Look at me, I have tracks and this cool turret thingy.' Throw them in a lake and see how well they move. Yeah.

Reminds me of a film I once watched...

:) I've split the Easter topic into two thread, one for Easter greetings and one for the AL vs Mike steel cage match

You have a point, no matter how one feels about the Israeli/Muslim topics, there are two sides to look at it. My only request is that people try to restrain the urge to get too personal with their arguements (including me).

Well, if it's an artillery duel you want, can I provide Avon Lady with the first choice of weapons? :yep:

You can do, but not matter how big your gun is, there's always someone who's got a bigger one...

 That phenomenon of tanks getting stuck in water bodies actually is one of the bugs with SBP currently. Even with the amphibious tanks.

lmao
OT
given the irony of the Doctor's 2D on-screen persona, I do find he has the most three dimensional sense of humor and sarcasm (call it bedside manner if you will... ahah ha ha) of all of the Voyager characters... I guess being a hollogram they had to spend more time on the dialogue rather than relying on mere physical appearance ie. seven of nine (what bloke here doesn't fancy being assimilated by that broad? lol)

I had a read through the threads in question and I'm afraid I have to give the old "Two men enter, one man leaves" Thunderdome idea a resounding thumbs up  hehe
