Based upon some observations of certain topics here on subsim recently and of events and actions close to my own daily experience I am curious to know who here is/has been willing to follow their faith/convictions (not exclusively religious ones) and change some aspect of your life to conform as such?
I don't mean mundane stuff like 'I won't buy Nestle products because of fair trade' or whatever, but a principal(s) you are willing to abide by that impacts all areas of your life/home etc.
A bit of a random one I grant you and not something I can really associate with personally- aside from making and effort to stay fit and packing in the smoking, there is nothing I can really say I have changed so drastically for an end or ideal.
I'm not particularily driven by any belief or ambition and appart for securing my own little bit of existance and that of those who are close to me in this world, I can't really see anything that might drive me to a more far reaching action. Maybe that is simply due to the circumstances in which I live, or that it means I'm reasonably chuffed with where I am right now. Who knows. Perhaps it's because lacking some greater ideal or ultimate goal, life as we (I) know it has not the same nessecity it might once have had?
*Yes, the sound you are hearing now is the boulders rolling about in my head as I'm thinking
So, 'fess up, is there anything to precipitate you in such a way?
