Does anyone know the crush depth for the various subs in SH3? I am currently using a VIIB. :-?

I can't remember them off the top of my head, and for some reason a Google search didn't turn up a thread here (there has to be one somewhere, though, I just didn't find it). But check out Timetraveler's crush depth mod here:
http://www.delraydepot.com/tt/sh3.htm
Once installed, it'll show you the default crush depths and allow you to edit them (to a certain extent).

There is also a crush depth mod, if you decide you want to set your own.
It's a nice mod, and if I remember correctly, you can make it a variable setting to +/- 5 or 10 meters.

That is true!
To all:
Just as a footnote.... LOL... the maximum depths listed on the F1 screens in GW are APPROXIMATE!!!
The actual crush depths are secret... and we aren't going to tell you. :D
(By the way, if you figure them out... don't tell anyone else... it will ruin the suspense.)

Well...depths in manual are safe depths I.E. IF your hull is at 100% and u above that depth u will not be crushed..however IF u r on 70%,50%...etc...dont try to go deeper than 50m..it can be your LAST dive :damn:

TT's Crush Depth Mod uses:
IIA=175m
IID=200m
IXB=275m
IXC=275m
IXC/40=275m
IXD2=275m
VIIB=250m
VIIC=300m
VIIC/41=350m
VIIC/42=450m
XXI=350m
Source I think is u-boat.net.
By default the latest SH3Cmdr includes the crush depth mod which uses these values as the seed and generates a random crush depth between 90% and 100% of the seed value. Of course, this is fully adjustable - just look inside SH3Cmdr's "Miscellaneous.cfg" file.
Now, to avoid everyone responding with "but x says the max depth was y", please remember that max depth <> crush depth. Crush depth was kinda hard to define for obvious reasons. The only people that really found it out are, well, kinda dead now...

Thanks JScones, Robert. How's the weather down under?
I´ve been in 330m in VIIC, cant remember which mods I had installed atm. But dont try it, I had no control over the boat so I just had to pray that the boat will hold.
