Whats next

What other subsim's maybe released after Dangerous waters, been thinking will they make one with SSGN and SSBN included and able to fire cruise / ballistic missiles?

What thoughs do you have about the next generation sub sim's ?

I would like to see more drivable platforms being available( not aircraft);perhaps a more realistic interface such as a complete control room with a crew in it.I think really lifelike graphics would be great but keep them for the periscope view.Who ever stands on a wingtip and looks at the aircraft they are flying or gets in a rib to have a look at their ff.

Very good question... I'm sure everyone has there wishlist.

Acutally... I would be very happy with DW for a long, long while if they would only allow some more modding license, to customize our own UI, systems, etc.... oh and fix that goofy physics engine because some of the sub behavior now is down right :88) :down: :nope:

With the way new tech is skyrocketing, any new game would need to be super modd-able for me to be happy. No doubt I would need to try out free-electron-lasers, super-caviation torps, UAV, UUVs, etc.

Oh and realistic wave mechanics are a must. Without realistic waves it just never "feels" like the sea. Just some mushy blue stuff.

if they made the game ultra realistic which they are not at the moment then you would find the real world of submarining 99% boring punctuated by 1% sheer adrenaline

I want to see weapon systems from the 50's 60's and 70's like the GUPPYs, Skipjacks, the 571 and 575 boats, Novembers, Echo II's, P2V's, Be-12's, and Forrest Sherman's. :rock:

We've got Modern War subsimming
We've got WW2 subsimming

So, that leaves us WW1 and Cold War...we touched on the Cold War with SCX II and it was good...

I want more :up: :D
