Tea. Coffee upsets my stomach. Outside of that, mostly water with the occasional weissbier with dinner.

I can drain a whole 12 ounce pot of coffee in 1 hour myself. Straight black please and not that "flavored water" that you can see thru either. The sub force taught me to appreciate a good strong cup!

I ceased a life-long addiction to coffee during a diet several years ago and have never looked back. My coffee addition is gone forever!
I drink a lot of tea now but I'm not addicted to it. If I'm thirsty and tea is not around, even water will do.
Until now, I've been drinking mostly flavored green teas but I'm discovering what is now being marketed as red tea. I like them both.
I cup of proper coffee in the morning, then decaf for the rest of the day (had to cut right down on caffeine to help fight against anxiety attacks).
My wife drinks the green or red teas like The Avon Lady, but there's nothing better for me than a decent stong cup of Tetley's or Yorkshire tea, with 1 sugar and just enough milk to make it opaque.

Green tea red tea what is with that tea is tea colour.
Differemt leaves that give off a different color but most important a different flavor.
I started teen life with a coffee in the morning and decafes the rest of the day but more and more of those decafes turned into caffienated coffee.
BTW, no sugar whatsoever. My husband got me to pass on the sugar righta after we were married.

for those that didnt know tea contains more caffine than coffee
Tea leaves have more caffeine than coffee beans before they are brewed. However, tea is diluted quite a bit more than most coffees. The average cup of tea contains about half as much caffeine as the average cup of instant coffee, and the average cup of instant coffee contains about half as much caffeine as a cup of proper espresso coffee.

Yes, old myth.
And of course, most herbal teas contain no caffeine at all. And, like coffee, there are plenty of decaf teas, if you really need one.
My experience is that one cup of coffee will prevent me from sleeping until it wears off, while drinking numerous teas or colas has absolutely no effect on me. Anyone else experience this discrepency?
Yup, no coffee for me after 18:00 or so (to be safe) tea is no problem for me. :hmm:

Tea, unless I'm up @ 5:00 am to finish some assignment then it's time for some strong black coffee....
Otherwise Earl Grey and Lemon tea does it for me.

Tea first but I love real coffee. By that I mean that I just can't stand the instant stuff. Give me an expresso any day of the week. Its freshly ground coffee or no coffee at all for me.
Real fresh ground coffee is the way to go, when I was a teenager Dad went on business trips to Brazil (helping deliver usbsea oil platforms for Patrobras) and would bring back real whole roasted coffee beans in simple plastic pouches. We had a grinder and there was nothing like the smell of that stuff. I love a nice cuppa tea too and usually drink that though as I said especially after 6PM or so.
Anyway just wanted to add a comment about caffeine..watch out for those energy drinks...they can really casue a caffeine overdose! I don't drink them very often, except I found a gurana drink from Brazil that is tasty and doesn't have tons of additives and gives a kick instead of tea or coffee.

I have to confess that I die from enjoyment inhaling the aroma in the coffee section at Zabars in NY.

Our kitchen is graced with the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans every Sunday morning. It's our own little treat whilst relaxing and reading the Sunday paper.

Right on! The smell is as great as the taste...
A cup of tea first and then a few espresso's during the day. But with sugar and a cup of coffee cream (Dutch style) for me.
By the way, Konovalov, the Italian word is written (and expressed) as espresso.
I remember years ago when I was a little nipper, we had a fresh coffee shop full of different coffee beans. And I must admit the smell was very nice indeed, may go to explain why I drunk a lot of coffee in my teenager years and in to my twenties. But now in my late thirties I drink a lot more tea, but I do enjoy a good cup of real fresh coffee not that instance rubbish, the real thing and nothing less.
