Taken at ZhangJiaJie, China. Now that, my friends, is nuts. :o

I would sy that has been edited, BUT airliners.net do not accept any edited pictures at all, they rigorously go through them and see if any have been alterd.
That has to be a photoshop, for starters the plane and the background are both in perfect focus. I'm also pretty sure that no jet can fly that low, there would be too much ground effect

Ive been to an airshow where the SU33 has flown as low as that then at the end just shot up 90 degree's.

its a fake picture if the jet was flying the background picture would be distorted also the exhaust from the engines would also be visable
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." John Stuart Mill
whats worse war or a man whom makes a living out of wriiting about conflict the very thing hes against

How is slipped past thier very tight scrutiny im amazed airliners.net are very tight and accept no edited pictures.
there was an aircrafsh with a SU33 involved if you noticed it flew around the same hight and when he pulled up his tail hit the ground remember that?
SO IT IS POSSIBLE.

kap that is about six feet from the ground the plane that crashed was not that low
where the exhaust ! why is the background not out of focus the plane has to be doing over 120 knots and if it going slow how come the flaps are not in the right position

It looks odd.
Can we bet? I bet it's a fake.
But isn't it evil to do something like this with a bi-place fighter? I bet the fella in the back kept his eyes closed, and both hands on the ejection handle.

Also on a cat 6 rating the pilot is cleared down to 10 feet ! average airline pilot is cat iii or is cleard to fly at 300 feet.

No, no, with that Spit they can't. That was sensational realistic...
As for the pic, that's a tough cookie...it looks all too perfect in my opinion...the flight level is much too straight...but still...wow.
I've seen that Spit video before, it's even been on BBC outtake shows before, I think it was from 'The Air Show' or something like that, so that's definately real.
And the Mirages...well...my respect for them just went up several notches....GREAT VIDEO!!

The guy top left corner is not paying much attention either. And where was the picture taken, from a chase plane without wings and without canopy distortions? From a waiting heli?
And why is the plane not flying strait over the taxiway - which would be more logical?

The picture is 100% Fake :yep:

The non-Russian planes have on-board computers, so they just re-programmed them to prevent the planes from dropping below, ehhh, 5ft.
At least that's what they want you to believe.
I know, however, that they are using The Force.

What are you trying to say? Borts image is just taken with higher shutter speed, that's why there's no motion blur (or the camera was standing on a tripod and not moving). Do you still think the first image is fake?

If the lighting conditions are ideal then with high shutter speed it would be possible.
In this image the lighting conditions are looking not so much ideal because of the soft shadows below the plane, this means that the light goes first trough clouds so it's been reduced a lot.
It also depends on what type of film you're using.
LOl there are so many factors to take notice on and beliefe it's rather fake or real.
Well i just accept the fact that the site doesn't allow fake stuff, so my opinion is that's it's a non post-edited photograph.

All planespotters that I know, use digital cameras.

Not only that they have huge lenses and incredibly fast shutter speeds with millions of pixles.
I suggest you go to Farnbough airshow you will see the F/A18 do exactly that monover the blue angel is doing on take off.
At least the last 4 years it has.
The top one is the plane just taking off and them elevators are up ie to climb.
Jeez - their landing gear must come up quick.
Kapitan
04-05-06, 04:18 AM
They do as soon as wheels are off the gear comes up so the plane can accelarate off without doing what normal airlines do (wait for 500 feet gear up then accelarate).
that blue angles picture looks as if the plane is 3/4 of the way down the runway already, so the gear more than likely had been up for only a short time before this pilot pulls up.
Have a look at Oberons mirage viedo youll see what im on about.

These pilots are insane ! ! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7947436696167667595&pl=true :o You'd think that water vapor would flameout the engines. Suppose thats what ejection seats are for :help:

Not really. The reaction time would be a bit too long at that altitude. But water getting into the engine wouldn't be a problem, because the wake where water is kicked up is behind the jet.
With airliners you wait to see a positive climb ( height on th rad alt increasing as the aerial is behind the main gear )and then ask for gear up.With the 'bus doors open the gear shortens on some of them and then the doors close again by which time you are just under 1000ft.On the Trident the nose gear was off centre and retracted sideways!!
