I think they don't mean Ballistic Missiles but the Regulus guided missiles that were fired in the mid '50 from subs. Wasn't that the USS Halibut?

It was Halibut was the first SSGN however i think the Grayback and Growler were the first SSG.

Actualy its S9G and it means Submarine reactor 9th generation General Electric built. :yep:
SG-9 is Stargate Command's offworld Diplmatic Team. :up:
