My wife and I run a little writing critique group at http://groups.msn.com/UniversalWritersGroup . Our group was just named the #1 writing/critique group on the internet by Writer's Digest Magazine for the 2nd year in a row. This occurred in the May 2006 issue of Writer's Digest in an annual article entitled, "Top 101 Websites for Writers on the Internet".

Of some 3000+ sites reviewed ours was selected #1 in our category. So if any of our esteemed members here have the writing bug and wish to improve your craft, check out our site and apply for membership. Or drop me an e-mail and I will send you an invitation to join.

You have a German sub-section...?

Actually, not at this time. The vast majority of our writers write in english. However, If you saw fit to join, we can create a board for any other language, including german. The same copyright rules would exist. Any submission to our board is automatically copyrighted to the author in the msn rules and counts as a published work. We also ask that our members include their real name, the copyright word or mark, the date and all rights reserved at the top and/or bottom of any submission. We have writers from all over the world in our group; US, UK, Australia, NZ, South Africa, China, Syria etc. But the vast majority are writers in English. You will, obviously, get more feedback from our group if you use that language. On the other hand, if you know many others who are interested in writing in German and get them to join, then a German board would become much more productive

Thanks for the precise and serious answer. But I admit, I was not so serious with that question... Hope i haven't wasted your time ;)

I plan to write a book in 2007.
"Words And Opinions. How to moderate in the times of the internet. A quickguided tour by A. B. Raham"

:D

And I'll write an essay, reviewing it

That will be my second book...

How about: "FATAL ATTRACTION - An in-depth study of the diverging and converging opinions of Skybird & Abraham on the Subsim.com forums"
I'll write the book - and plug it shamelessly on the Subsim forums - and you can write the introduction (which should not beat the book in size!).
:D

Sounds great, Abraham. Check out the site from time to time. You'll see we have many other writers offering honest, constructive critique to help sharpen your work. We look forward to your application and will help you with whatever project you have.
