Well not yet

BUT i got an awesome trip comming this summer!!! Okay first stop.. Chicago.. U-505 for a weekand or a couple days.. THEN ITS OFF TO THE EAST COAST TO DIVE and see a sunken German uboat! I havent picked the boat yet, but there are plenty to see. I want to actually swim around in one, or near one. But most are all German War Graves and must be treated as such. Wohoo!!! Even diving and seeing a sunken uboat would be the greatest!! cant wait@!!! Any suggestions?!

O lordy im going to take at least 3 cameras with me just for the dive!!! Hopefully they dont get lost!

damn i still havent picked wut boat i wanna search. East coast boats man.. Which one is the best dive.

I just saw an interesting show on the U-352 on The Discovery Channel. The two divers who went down to the boat got to talk to one of the survivors, pretty interesting stuff. They even went inside the u-boat but there was a lot of sediment and when they distubed it visibilty got pretty poor. They entered the sub through the fore external loading tube which was cool.

Geographically it's not that far off the coast either, about 35 miles from Virginia I think...

Unless you are a experienced cave diver, Use to closed in spaces. I would not advise going inside. Ship wreaks are VERY dangerous. Very easy to get trapped and such.

As for which one, the most shallow one would be the best. The deeper it is the less time you will have at the wreak site. At 60 feet you have 60 minutes before you would need to decompress. the deeper you go the time decreases.

Have fun but be careful. :up:
