View Full Version : An NYGM moment in GW patrol?

Just today after toiling to get GW to work i had my first patrol in my IID in 1941 April out of Brest.. Found a convoy coming out of the Channel and attacked.. Well.. AImed for a small merchant and a c3, c3 blew up after 2 torp hits 1 magnetic 1 impact set, but i missed the small merchant and it hit another small merchant )G7a Impact).. Dive Dive! Evade escorts in my hefty little IID and reloaded torps but the convoy was going to fast 9knots, and i didnt feel like approaching it again..

I surfaced and found the small merchant sitting there, rudder destroyed. This was about 20 minutes after i torped her. She wasnt listing or anything, just dead in the water. I got into firing position submerged within about 1000meters and planning to get closer, when she starts to sink astern. Her butt is going under.. Slowly but surely she is going under, but stops when her decks are awash... Now its been about 45 minutes.. I just watch her, and finally an hour and a couple minutes pass, and she goes under fast.. Ship Sunk.. But no "Red" little ship icon appears on my map like it did for the c3.. I still got credit for it but havent finished patrol so ill see if i get credit in the end.

SOOOO i got to thinking :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: Is there a way i just copy the ship zone.cfg files etc.. into my GW mod folder? I cant find the old NYGM ship Damage mod (i believe its 1.3.4 or 1.3) the one without the aircraft power fix.. Any1 try this out yet? Or does GW have its own lil zone ship.cfg files.

I'm pretty sure GW includes the NYGM ship damage mod
