Hi all,

I'm new to the game, but doing my best to learn fast :yep: It seems awesome and I can see much time being spent on it. I'm trying to learn manual targeting using Wazoo's excellent manual, but I'm having a bit of a problem getting Pato's bearing mod to work properly. I've seen my problem mentioned a few times but no answer for it yet.

Basically I've installed the tgas as stated in the readme file (oh and I'm using the 1.5 km mod, as I'm using ATI ;) ), but when I zoom in on the nav map I get black text saying that the tga cannot be found...

I've tried removing the file association with Paintshop pro and I've enabled the .tga extension on the filenames, but I'm still having no luck.

I'd love to use this mod as I like to do things properly in a sim :yep: Can anybody help with this problem?

Thanks in advance,

I'm impressed with this community, seems like a nice place (at least in comparison with certain Ubi IL2 forums I read ;) )

Cheers

Doh :nope: I solved my own problem.

In case anybody else has the same one, the tga file which makes up the bearing grid, which you have to name to match the different submarine types has a double underscore in it __ I didn't notice, the game files only have one.

I feel like one of those people who ring tech support, then actually find out that they really didn't plug in the computer :nope:

Oh well, my manual targeting can go on apace now :)

Cheers
