Need help!!

I have the DVD version of Silent Hunter III, i have installed the full version on my PC. When i try to update to the latest patch which is version 1.4b, it gives me this error every time.

This program cannot update the installed version of silent hunter III US.DVD v 1.0 to 1.3 because of the following

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter III\data\Menu\de_menu.txt:unknown reason.

Anyone know why its doing this, i have even tried to install the first version patch that came out then do the latest, and it tells me the same message over and over again.

I cant upate the game so far.

Need help.

Make sure that you have the correct DVD patch that corresponds to your copy of SH3.

One patch is for the US released version (US DVD 1.4b) and the other is for the Eurpoean, Asian and Middle Eastern released verisons (EUMA DVD 1.4b).
