German ships running aground

Last night I started a new career. While leaving Wilhelmshaven I noticed that two German vessels ran aground on the west side of the straight.


After a while the escort I was following, hit the minefield , on the east side.

I’m using IuB 1.03 without the patch. No other mods.

Is this a bug or does Kriegsmarine need some more training :o

Did you by chance save the game while you were leaving the harbor, and restart it?

That's the only time I've ever had a problem with ships running aground.

Yes.

I think that I saved the game and loaded it next day.

IIRC If you save and reload in an area where there are ships near by they "forget" their waypoints and things like this can happen.
