IUB1.03have too heavy bad influence on my cumper

I think this IUB1.03,have too heavy bad influence on my cumper performance.
IUB1.02,lots of ship,all kind ships, 1.02 edition have enough satisfaction to me.

BUT, IUB1.03, even if ,I use '8Km Visual Range' mod, MY cumpter
has poor FPS.and my harddisk,run crazily!,this is not be bear.

and I like IUB1.02 more.
so ,I want your help for IUB1.03's performance

what are your system specs?

Have you tried to install Harbour Traffic Lite mod supplied with IuB?
Have you tried to decrease the particules settings in the Options?

If yes, well here's a line originaly given by oRGy took from the documentations:


Performance: As Improved U-Boat includes multiple higher-resolution textures, as well as a greatly expanded view distance, performance (framerate) will be degraded on less powerful computers, and loading time will be increased. If you have to turn on the lowres texture option or put up with low (5-15) fps in default SH3, then you should probably not install Improved U-Boat.

I run 8km patch,and I delete, some Textures about ship ,and plane, and explosion ,and so on.

after zhese means, I have achiece the FPS of 1.03 as same as IUB1.02.

,ask again,CAN I improve DDs' level ? which files wiil be need ???
