Hi again. This topic has been up before (by someone else) long ago but I can´t find it so I try it this way.

I downloaded "German Hits 1939-45" from Realsimulation.com some time ago. Yesterday I dropped the "1944 hits" in the grammophone folder in SHIII to have something to listen to during our transit to PZ "Nordlöwe".
The music is really cool and presents a good factor to enhance the immersion of the game.

Now; These files are in ogg-format and can not be played directly on the WinMediaplayer. Are there any good freeware to use to convert ogg to a format that Windows MP accepts?

Just want to have this music on when at work :D

I use Audacity which is a free Open Source audio editor it converts Ogg files to wav or Mp3 (although you'll need an additional (free)plugin for Mp3 conversion. It's a very good editor.

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

failing that you could get Irfanview a free media viewer which with an additionally installed free plugin, will play Ogg files without the need to convert them

There`s also Foobar 2000. For mp3, Wav, ape, flac, mpc, ogg and tons of other types...

For converting, I`ve found oggdrop - simple ogg converter,.

"IrfanView" will play them, as well as let you view .TGA files:

I think you can simply get the ogg codec for WinMedia and no conversion will be needed
