Of course banks profit from their clients money, what did anyone thought? That your money was eating dust in a safe?

As even the article stated, the profit is far from being made from the tariffs, even if you cut all tariffs away, they would still have "record profits!" as we're living in a period of absolutely fantastic, unique, investment opportunities.

Create another Tax in the UK for banks? Are you CRAZY?! Where will it stop? When the EU reaches 80% tax level?

No more tax for the government, they don't need any more money, they have so much money they can donate huge bucket loads of cash to Murderous Dictators in Africa to help appease their conscience.

If the idea is to be authoritharian, then FORCE Banks, through a LAW, to provide a part or most of those profits as cheap loans (with minimal interest rates) to small business and personal credit.
