Just now has this piece of news come to my attention:

Then:

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/football/nfl/04/23/tillman.killed/index.html?cnn=yes

Now:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/03/04/AR2006030400824.html

This cover up stinks to high heaven in my book. But then again, what's new in the political arena ? I assume the family prefers good money over hero's (postumus) glory. Can you blame them ?

and this btw was among the first page hits in google

What is there to say about this? S#!t happens. Nothing to feel good about but it happens. If you have a percieved threat in an area of operations you shoot it.
Course we don't know the full story yet so anything up to now is just speculation.
