I was goofing off at work today instead of playing golf or having a long lunch and I came across the Google Groups search. I looked for "Subsim" to see when this website was first mentioned:

Hope subsim will be here for years to come.
We all have good comrades here and good comradship amungst us, when subsim closes its doors (hopefully not soon) it will be a depressing day for a lot of people, so.
To subsim a toast to a great number of dives and toast again to many comings to the surface.

Wow! That old URL takes me back.
I remember the forums from then had faint outlines of Subs as a background. Made the posts very hard to read.
