I have the latest patch and the latest RUB installed.

Problem is this. I click lets say.. 20 meter depth on the gauge. We're at all stop in rough sea's. My helmsman will NOT bring the boat to 20 meter depth. It's just bobs there. I have to tell him 9-10 times till he does it. I remember in the vanilla unpatched version I just clicked and they did it. Simple.

This is driving me nuts. Same thing happens when I click on a speed on the dial. Takes them FOREVER to do it. Yet if I use the keyboard command it's done right away.

Anyone have a fix?

Make sure there is an officer in the Chief Engineer slot. You can't maneuver without a chief engineer. You can't plot courses without a nagivator, and you can't access the weapons officer functions like identify my target or calculate a solution without a weapons officer.

Waves have peaks and valleys and the boat depth is not measured at the con tower. Pitch and yaw of the boat from wave at 20m will impact the craft. Even with a strong crew I have seen the ship bob like a cork. It happens, with SH3 commander you can change the wave height...

Ask a sailor; fear yes the enemy but never forget you share a common foe - the sea.
