I found this one at a flea market for $6. :o
"The great book of Tanks" by David Miller.
From the first tanks to what's on the battlefield in 2003.
512 pages,tons of pics 400 color, 100 b/w
This book is a over size edition that weighs in at 4 pounds!
The book begins with the World War I era tanks, such as the British Mk 1, that attempted to break the deadlock of the Western Front. It then examines major tanks that emerged during the inter war period. All the celebrated World War II tanks are featured, including the PzKpfw VI Tiger, the M4 Sherman and the T-34. Finally, it surveys the incredible tanks of the postwar era, including the M48, the Merkava and T-54/-55.
Modern tanks like the M1A2 and T-90 round out the present day.
*Note..there are errors; many mistaken identification errors in photos, some minor, some major. But its still a tank book.
