Newbe question

I am sure this has been covered and I apologize for asking, I tried the search engine, but it came up with over 2600 hits.

The question is, when in Career and I exit out and save the game. When I load up the saved game, I am back at the starting base. How do I save it so when I return I am where I left off.

you are in the middle of a mission and press esc, press "save" and give the file the name... "mission" then, when you are ready to resume that mission just go to career, saved and search in the list for the file that is called "mission" you load that file and....
and....
and....
thats it.

Thanks, I thought that was what I was doing, but I will run thru it again. Appreciate the help.

That is what I was doing, however I found that it takes two clicks on the save before it takes. I have noticed this on a lot of the commands in this sim, that it takes two clicks for the action to take place.

Once you type the name you want to give your save as kenijaru susgest ... hit the enter key .. you should get a comfirmation that the save was recorded ok ........
