View Full Version : No 7th no IX ever.........

OK ok, apprently I have a problem.

I'm running SH Commander don't know the version, with 1.4 and I don't have the 7th. Come to think of it I have NEVER had the 7th at any time during any of my games. I have also never had the chance to get a IX anything. I use RUB along with other mods.

I have had the game since its release date way back when and I have never had this, its bothered me but I have always played anyways, well now I want the 7th and a IX but what the hell?

Anyone else ever had this problem? I really don't want to have to reinstall everything and all the mods I have. Can anyone help me?

Wahoo! This is just great I can't even uninstall the blasted thing! Keeps giving me same IDS_Deleting_Files_Status_Text not found error!

HaHa! I this is just my day!

Going to attempt a "repair" reinstall to see if that works.WHile I'm doing this has anyone ever had my problem? Any ideas on what is causing it?

This is so awsome! I can't even reinstall the damned thing! :damn: :damn: :damn: :damn: :damn: :damn: It just sits there at validating install forever till I close it down!

I have never had any troubles with this game and sudden all this! :down:

Allright! I've restarted my computer and I still get the uninstall problem.

Ok I'm getting alittle pissed off now......WTF is wrong here, nobody has even had either of these problems? I want to uninstall and reinstall it so that I can get a clean install of the things I want, and I CAN'T UNINSTALL IT!

Somebody! Please! Help me!

Heres one way of doing it...

Go to where you have SH3 installed.Then manually delete the SH3 folder.Also delete the SH3 folder from your My Documents folder.

Afterwards use a registry cleaning program like Crap Cleaner to clean out the old SH3 registry entries.Then click the Start button on your taskbar and selesct All Programs and delete SilentHunterIII folder in the Ubisoft folder.

This is what I do when a program gives me fits trying to uninstall.
