Did you gain renown for sinking an enemy, or lose renown for sinking a neutral? That should answer your question right there.

Remember the Heinkel crew who accidentally dropped their bombs on London? This precipitated a retaliation bombing on Berlin, which led Hitler demanding that Germany retaliate in kind, which led to the two pilots scheduled for court-martial being sent back to their squadron to drop more bombs on London. It also meant that German thinking turned to bombing factories rather than airfields, which may have saved the RAF.

Not sure, but i think it counted as an enemy as when I exit the game it shows two enemies sunk.

And i didn't report it sunk until later so I dont think uncle Carl will be too upset. But the crew kinda look at me funy sometimes.. :yep:
