SH3 commander mod- is it worth getting? Your answers please.

Hi all. After reading several posts a lot of ppl in this forum seem to have the sh3 commander mod. My question is , is it worth getting?
what exactly does it do? im rather interested in this mod but i need some feed back before i get it. apparentley some of your officers can be transferred to other boats, crew members get into bar fights and get killed etc. To me this mod seems to add a lot of depth to the game and sounds fun, so should i download it?

Just the ability to change many settings to your liking makes it worthwhile.

I was reluctant at first too, but almost every feature of SH3 Cdr is an option, so you can make a choice. :up:

I would recommend it because it gives a little more personal feeling to the game. And it makes SH3 more than just a simulation of steel. Get it, its free and if you dont like it, delete it.

But it is definetly worth it!

Thats Hannah Szenes, she was a Jewish volunteer in the British Paratroops, it was their job to enter nazi countries and try to organize/help resistance movements.

SHIII Commander is one of the tools I wouldn't want to live without. My captain has a life and a history, my crew seem much more like real people, every ship I sink has a real name, I can visit the nightclub and listen to my fellow Kaleuns brag and I can control the environment without having to know how to hex edit.

If you only edit the Crew Names it is worth it! Really a fantastic utility.

Also, I have not had any corrupted saves while using SH3 Commander.
