Hi All

Is there any mods or changes that you can make to the game to activate the AA guns instantly instead of having to go through about 3 icons to get the crew manning and firing the guns, it just seems to take too long when you get attacked by aircraft I liked the old Aces hot key just press the "A" key and you aa guns would be manned and ready.

Check out the "Setkey" mod in the Subsim mod downloads page. I think you can assign any command in the game to a key, regardless of whether it is a straight up command or a command that is hidden through several tabs, like "Man the AA gun" or "aim for waterline" etc.

Yup Setkeys, but still make sure you have the 'cursed' Officer manually placed on the bridge with the mouse (after any dive) or the command won't work for manning flak or deckgun.

I'd love to have a mod to place a Bridge Officer on duty 24/7, scuba gear if necessary! :88)
