I noticed that certain weather patterns seem to go on for unusually long, and in the same pattern. When it rains, it goes on for 3 straight days for me. Then i'll have 0 clouds for many days. Then cloudy for a couple. And it repeats. It's always the same thing over and over.

I just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this.

Oh yes, it's been complained about many times. 3 straight days? Try three straight weeks! I've heard it said that when you save the game it somethimes resets the weather 'timer'. I don't know if this is true, but I've had weather change every day, and I've had it stick in one mode forever.

Have you noticed that the weather is always perfect when you leave port? Never rains, never storms.

I didnt particularly notice that, but now that you mention it, it has been that way for me as well. I havent seen anything go on for multiple weeks, but it's definitely not realistic weather. I'm not really complianing about it. I just wanted to see if this was a widespread issue. Sounds like it is.

It is. It's been discussed many a time, and there are people trying to figure out a fix.

Well i'll keep a look out for that. I would like it to be more random than it is. Ive never had 1 type of weather for just 1 day. It's always mutiple days of the same thing. It's kind of annoying. I would love for it to be clear one day, cloudy the next. Get some variety in there.

I lived in England for a couple of months one winter - I think it didnt rain 3 days I was there.

I just posted in one of the above threads in the mods forums. This was my message.

Can someone tell me if there is something that I can modify, that will let me control the weather at will? This way I modify something, and it just stays partially cloudy and no wind until I change it?

Actually I found out it can and successfully did it last night. You have to download the program that someone links above, then select user defined weather. You can change it to whatever you want and I think it stays that way till you change it again back to random or whatever you want.

We don't get much rain these days. As for SH3 I don't mind it ;)
